What We’re Making! Tiny Pocket Tee by Grainline Studio

Inspired by the summer season, Megan made 3 Tiny Pocket Tanks from Grainline Studio. The downloadable pattern makes it easy to start sewing anytime the mood strikes.

The yardage requirement is 2 yards of 45″ quilting cotton or 1  7/8 yards for 54″ wide fabric.

The Black Tank is made of Robert Kaufman’s Brussels Washer Yarn Dyed in Black. The other fabrics were found in Megan’s stash.

Tiny Tank’s hemline was easily lengthened 2 inches using the handy guides on the pattern showing where make the adjustment. As a new garment sewist, Megan found the Tiny Tank easy to make with well written instructions.

The new Robert Kaufman Chambray Union light weight denims would be great as a Tiny Tank.

The sun is shinning and summer is almost here. What are you making for your summer wardrobe?

Happy sewing!

What a great project! They will certainly get lots of wear over the coming months.

Is it possible to see a photo of the tank on a person without a sweater on top? I’m curious to see the arm-holes on a body.

I am curious due to the style of the top and types of fabrics used, if this top is easy to get on and off over the head? Seems these are made with woven fabrics, but no openings to allow ease of donning and doffing the top. Thank you.

This looks a bit like the Sorbetto top I make that they had on line. It is perfect and easy.
