We love Herman and we’re so happy to have him back for another appearance. Cindy used her sweet little Herman the Hedgehog by Penguin & Fish to adorn a Perfect Zip Bag from Elizabeth Hartman’s dowbloadable pattern. The whole Pink Chalk Team loves the versatility of this pattern, which make 3 different sized bags. The instructions are very detailed with lots of pictures. For more ideas take a look at our previous blog post here and here.

The back is every bit as happy and fun as the front! Essex Linen in Aqua was used as the background to showcase the pinwheel patchwork panel.

What a perfect home Cindy found for Herman! For more info on Herman the Hedgehog take a look at our previous blog post.
Happy sewing!

That bag is a winner; with its adorable Hedgehog and great patchwork.
Any chance you could post how to do that pinwheel on the back?
Nanette – the pinwheel is a paper pieced block from Sentimental Stitches. Its block #114 of the free Midget Blocks collection. You can find it here: http://sentimentalstitches.net/free-stuff/midget-blocks/
