Bainbridge Island Modern Quilt Guild Takes Flight

17 quilters met October 14, 2012 at Pink Chalk Fabrics forming the first official meeting of the Bainbridge Island Modern Quilt Guild.

We had babies…

inspired creating …

big cutting tables …

and joyful conversation as we pieced, cut, and designed modern quilts with new friends.

Meetings will take place at Pink Chalk Fabrics on the second Sunday of the month from 11 am to 4 pm – everyone is welcome.

Upcoming meeting dates: Sunday, November 11 and Sunday, December 9.

Pink Chalk Fabrics is located at 9723 Coppertop Loop, Suite 205, Bainbridge Island, WA. Phone: 206-451-4173.

See you this Sunday!

No need to RSVP – snacks are welcome! I have hot and cold filtered water, a microwave, coffee, tea and a break area table. Looking forward to meeting you, Kathy

Will you hold one in December? I had some oral surgery and am not up to a sew-in today, but I would love to come in the future. I hope you have a great turnout today :-) and I wish I felt better to come.

looking for my step-daughter in your pix, she’s a knitter but i expect her to start quilting at any moment. if i ever get up there again, i’ll be stopping by, but my aversion to the more northern aspects of the hemisphere is growing with age and arthritis. looks like such fun and, that baby….oooooh…

Hmmmm…it looks like so much fun that I’m thinking of driving up from Clatskanie, OR to join in. :) Only a broken ankle is standing between me and thee.

I’ll be in Port Townsend Dec. 9th. Okay if I come by and quilt with y’all? I live in Oregon and quilt by myself all the time. Very lonely. Would love to have some people around me while I sew! Jeanne
