Year 2 of Where I Sew Month comes to a close. Whew, what fun! The thoughtful contributions from participants always unfolds with an elegance and transparency that makes me glad to be a part of the sewing community. Thank you for making the month over-the-top-fabulous with images of your own sewing spaces. And the comments – goodness – so nice!
Personally, I’m inspired to tackle a re-organization and de-cluttering of my own sewing space. My creative chi needs some room for all the holiday sewing projects swirling in my imagination!
A full list of featured designers and your sewing room mosaic available on the Where I Sew 2012 post.

Thanks Kathy for such a great look at so many sewing spaces…from large to small, fancy and not! My ‘takeaway’ is to paint my sewing area quiet light color…seems to open up a space and make it appear uncluttered (or less cluttered!). Loved Where I Sew month.
thank you so much for the series and giveaway! I can’t believe I won! I hope to graduate from the dining room into my own space one day, but for now will work on organizing the Closet of Sewing.
Hope you do it again next year, love this series! Congrats to all the winners too!
Absolutely Kristy – I’m already thinking about who I’d like to see next. Maybe I’ll have my sewing space ready by then!
I saw the name Erin on your list and got real excited, but no email so it must be a different Erin, thanks for doing the giveaways, better luck next time I guess.
Thanks so much. I am so excited!
Thank you so much! Now I won’t feel guilty making a Pink Chalk purchase just a couple of weeks after the last one (and Ill remember to get a thimble this time!)
I had a lot of fun seeing all the sewing rooms, and have already made a couple of changes to my own space after seeing how some other people set their work areas up.
Woohoo! Thanks so much! I loved seeing all the different creative spaces!
Congratulations to all of the winners!
A fun week for inspiring us to redo our rooms.
Debbie

I used to have the same Hello Kitty sewing machine!!
Thanks so much for the tour. I came away with wonderful ideas, a new perspective on my own sewing room (I *do* have a lovely window!), and appreciation for the quilting community’s openness. The gift certificate I received from you was a splendid bonus. Thanks to all who made this such a fun month.
I just discovered Pink Chalk Studio today after reading Generation Q. I really enjoyed all the pictures and ideas for redecorating my sewing room. I can’t wait to get started!

I am so excited I won. The first time ever . I also really enjoyed peaking into the sewing rooms. The fabric arrived today and love it and am anxious to get to sewing. thank you.
So much fun to look at every day — thanks for all the great designers’ links and ideas! Is this a shot of your new space above? Very cool!
Thank you so very very much! I used my gc right away and ordered some beautiful Kona solids that I have been wanting. I am thrilled to have won!!c
kathy, i thoroughly enjoyed this series! since i kind of have to improvise with my sewing space (kitchen table), i love to look at people’s spaces who have designated sewing spaces!!!
i have to say that while i loved peeking at the sewing spaces, what i found myself drawn to in *every* picture was the sewing machines. i was so curious as to what sewing machine these talented folk were using, why they chose it, their opinion about how it sews, etc. i know that this series was a lot of work, but in the future…maybe a sewing machine one??? he he he.
thanks so much for all you share with us!

Much more and more men and women need to look at this and see why side within the story. I cant think youre less popular because you certainly hold the gift.
