Where I Sew – Shea Henderson of Empty Bobbin Sewing Studio

Shea Henderson is a former middle school math teacher turned sewing pattern designer– two careers that are, surprisingly, not so different from each other! Her quilts and patterns frequently feature the use of her favorite types of fabric – solids and shot cottons. When not designing, Shea can be found raising two precocious preschoolers with her husband and sewing up a storm with her fellow members of the Kansas City Modern Quilt Guild, where she serves as President and co-founder.

Super sewing room! Love your sewing table/cabinet and how big it is. Your quilt on the wall is gorgeous! So clean and organized.
