Lynne is a UK quilter who blogs at Lily’s Quilts. She loves all things quilting: modern, traditional, old, new but her favourite quilts tend to be traditional designs in modern fabrics. She quilts in any free moment she has and loves to connect with the worldwide online quilting community. This year she joined the team of (now) five who run the online modern quilting magazine Fat Quarterly.

Is that a Jonome horizon? What I wouldn’t give to have a machine like that!
I wish I could keep a flat surface that clean in my sewing room, everything has fabric on it……
this is the first sewing space that even remotely resembles where i sew (kitchen table or a little desk). thanks for sharing!
I’d love to sit with a coffee here and watch Lynne at work
Love the coffee in the photo! A necessary studio accessory!
I think I would need a window or a lot of lamps to make this space work for me. It’s been really interesting to see the variety in work spaces!
Coffee please, with french vanilla creamer and then you may sew while I watch. Thanks for sharing your space with me.
My dream machine!
Professional sewing space.
The black workspace is an interesting idea if you work with a lot of light fabrics.
Lynne’s space is refreshing for those of us making do
Looking quite typical of what we in the UK have to deal with, no dedicated space and working with the family!
Looks great! I always seem to have a cup of coffee with me too!
Must have coffee! Love seeing where you *work*!
I follow your blog! It’s fun to see where you sew.
Well, I guess it works!
Your style is really unique in comparison to other folks I’ve read stuff from. Thanks for posting when you have the opportunity, Guess I will just book mark this blog.
