Hi Grace – I used a single skein of Cascade Magnum. It’s a super chunky yarn using needle size 15. Super fast to knit! ~Diana

How generous to have it for free! Love leaves and that it’s done with extra thick yarn is fab!

This is not the first time I wished I had a skein of Magnum in my stash! I’ll have to see if my LYS carries it …

I love this! Thanks for showcasing it, because I am going to buy the yarn and make this one. Of course, not sure if I have size 15 needles, but I guess I’ll find out :-)

Thank you for the link to this gorgeous cowl. Free! Lucky me. I learned how to knit last year when our local Care Help mission offered free classes. A lovely elderly woman has lead us through our knitting journey. I will share this pattern with our weekly group. I love your blog and am signing up to follow.

I knit the Vite Cowl this weekend, but the pattern was sketchy on how to join as a cowl – any suggestions?
