Living in the Pacific Northwest, a room filled with that much light is priceless. What a lovely place to spend time.
I love sewing! Been doing it since 5th grade. Now lets just say I am out of school. And about to graduate my last daughter in may. Life is good just not enough sewing or room for it in my house right now.
The clipsboards on the wall are a great idea!
I am going to the store to buy clipboards right now. Would be nice if I could buy that great light too!
This site always inspires me to do something…
Love the lighting and the clipboards in this room. Thanks for all of the inspiration!
What a clever theme for articles: The spaces we sew. And, who doesn’t like to get a glimpse into “celebrity” sewing spots? Thanks for the good read.
Clipboards! What a great idea for hanging a pattern while you’re working on it. I can’t be the only one whose patterns get lost under piles of stuff!
I still haven’t cleaned mine out yet, lol.
Love seeing the photos and getting ideas for storage and organization.

Am loving the Where I Sew posts…. thanks Kathy!
Such a clean and efficient work space!
Beautiful, I love the clean simplicity!
Great light-filled space. I like the storage boxes.
The light is amazing! I love the simplicity of the work table.
Not only are the clipboards a great idea, but I love the simple shelf and white boxes. My sewing area is a tiny corner in the family room, so I need to find a tidy way to store my stuff.
I really like the boxes also, I always think I need to SEE my stuff but when it’s all over the dining room it’d really be so much better to NOT see it!
Love the clipboard idea!
