Peter began sewing in June 2009. He now sews just about everything he wears — along with a (rapidly growing) wardrobe for his identical cousin Cathy. Peter likes vintage patterns and sews on vintage mechanical sewing machines. He enjoys buying the cheapest fabric he can find!

I LOVE the name of your blog. That alone is enough to make me want to follow you, in a non-stalkerish way.
Welome to PInk Chalk!
Love his blog name! Very catchy!
Not alone the blog name – the blog is sparkling too. Love it!
Now here’s a sewing space with which I can identify! I mean, there’s a crock pot on the table–yay for real life and small rooms.
Rice cooker maybe?
Yes, Collette — it is a rice cooker!
I love reading the Male Pattern Boldness blog! The sewing space looks a lot like mine!
Very nice, to be introduced to this blog and personality!
Nope, his sewing room is definitely not what mine looks like, but I do love how little distraction there is!
Yep, this def looks like a man’s space!
Now, that’s a sewing room! Thanks for sharing Peter! BTW, ‘Cathy’s’ outfit is looking divine!
Looks like it would work for sewing!
Makes me want to get my old Singers overhauled and up to speed again *sigh*
This is a realistic looking sewing space – looks like someone works there. I like all those older Singers.
Oh yeah definitely a manly functional space and I bet he never gets distracted and produces many wonderful projects.
Lol. Love the rice cooker behind the sewing machine.
Sews just about everything he wears?!? Wow! Impressive! Thanks for showing us where you sew. I’ll be sure to check out your blog.
Male Pattern Boldness – genious!
Love it! Going to add Peter’s blog to my daily reads!
I see a pet cage?
Bingo! Two dog crates, actually.
Thanks for the introduction.
Peter, you are my kind of guy! Sewing on vintage machines and finding the best priced (cheapest) fabric worth utilizing! Cathy is quite adorable in your creation!
I love that old Singer! My mom had one that looked very similar and I’d love to see if it still works but alas, I have no idea if she kept it or not.
