Where I Sew – Jennifer Paganelli of Sis Boom

As a designer, Jennifer Paganelli finds inspiration in everything. Sis Boom is the inspiration distilled from several lives: her youth in the Great Lakes region of the US, her adolescence spent in the vibrant Caribbean, her college years in traditional New England, followed by career-building in the clamor of New York City.

Today, she and her company are located in the leafy rolling countryside of the Northeast. It’s here where she takes a breath and gets to work everyday. With unusual artistry and a love of texture and a blend of vivid colors, Jennifer uses everyday inspiration, journaling, collaging, and materials from her past to cultivate new ideas and fabric designs.

Ecstatic about her most recent project, Girl’s World, Jennifer has found a way to let you into a magical world that she herself wishes every little girl can be a part of. Vibrant, happy, sweet, and saturated with all things textured, sparkly and girly, this sewing book is chock-full of 21 projects for little girls. What a treat!

Now that is a space that “fits” the woman who sews there. Thanks for the peek into this crisp and vibrant room.

I love her space, it is a beautiful place to sew and the cabinets are a wonderful idea for storage. My room was clean when I did a guest spot for my sewing room, now it is a mess again;)

I noticed the multiple chairs—it makes me think the space is big enough to invite a few friends over and sew as a group. How fun would that be!
