Fat Quarterly is one my most favorite ‘new things’ to discover in the last year. The eclectic group of individuals behind the publication have talent and heart. They met on Flickr and formed a partnership across oceans that translates their passion for modern quilting into an eMagazine that is professional, authentic, and chock full of fresh designs. One of my perks for being a sponsor of Fat Quarterly is a custom Fat Quarter set designed by Katy! This limited edition set is available for inspiration and purchase (and of course, one lucky winner in this giveaway!) Thank you Katy!
Habitat is the latest collection by Jay McCarroll for Free Spirit Fabrics. There’s something about this painterly palette that I’m really liking a lot. Besides being extremely unique (Jay never disappoints on that front!) it has some really interesting prints that I can’t help but want to cut up into small pieces and sew back together as a quilt.

- Every Tuesday two fat quarter sets from Pink Chalk Fabrics will be featured and given away the following week in a random drawing.
- The first winner is selected from those who opened their Pink Chalk Fabrics e-mail newsletter during the week.
- The second winner is selected from all comments left on the blog for the week (comments from all posts, not just the giveaway post).
You can sign up for the Pink Chalk Fabrics Newsletter here.

pick me .. lovely giveaway!
I live the colorway of this week’s set – pink and gray look great!
orange, rose and plum look LOVELY together in the fat quarter at the top right.
Love the Habitat!!
Those fabrics are beautiful! I´d be happy if I´m the winner n___n
I love that the habitat collection is very modern, but still has a touch of whimsy.
I love how the lavendar and deep rich red work together. They really pop. I’m not too sure about the green solid….I would go more aqua, or a platinum grey. Maybe I am trying to be too matchy-matchy about it.
I think you could make up for the line about trimming back your roses in your newsletter — Hello? Our roses are still buried in SNOW — by letting me win some beautiful fat quarters. I’m just saying …
These are just the most luscious fabrics!!! You have great taste in cloth….
Hmm,not seeing my comment, but I said… I love these! Well, actually, I said you have great taste in fabrics…
HABITAT certainly looks like a fun collection. Would love to win. Totes, aprons and even a quilt would be nice.
Websites worth visiting…
great post, very informative. I wonder why the other experts of this sector don’t notice this. You must continue your writing. I’m sure, you’ve a great readers’ base already!
