The fabulous and creative Bari J Ackerman standing in the Windham booth. The quilt on the wall features fabric from her upcoming collection Art Journal. A spectacular follow-up to Full Bloom, her first collection for Windham.
Windham has signed on some very exciting new designers. I had the pleasure of enjoying dinner with two of them on Sunday evening, Jessica Levitt and Paige Stanley Miller. Both will have their first collections coming out early next year. Hmmm, where are all those pictures? Fortunately Kim Kight of True Up was on the job and has a fantastic market write-up on Windham.

I love Jessica’s blog and can’t wait to see her fabric!
I think Windham is really making an effort to pull in the “younger” set, and I am really loving a lot of their recent lines!
Market must be just so overwhelming with all that creativity!!!
Beautiful!
Bari J is great and I’m really excited about their new designers!
Bari J’s new line is even more beautiful than her first. Love the birds
she designs…so soft and beautiful colors too. Again…how do you pick and choose?
This really makes me want to pull out my sewing machine and dust it off.
These fabrics are just great!
What a sweet quilt in the background–anything with rick rack is yummy.
I’m excited to see the workings of the new designers- thank you for the recaps!
Going out for dinner with designers… Do you also have plans to design fabric in the future?
my daughter would surely love all this yellow in this collection!
What great photos! Seeing all of these new fabric lines breaths new life into my creative veins. Thanks so much for your thorough and delightful report of the Quilt Market.
