Inadvertent stockpiling has been rampant around here. I’m going to give away a different item each day this week (Monday through Friday). If you’re interested in the item leave a comment on that post (I was going to do it all as a group but the items are too different from one another and I would really like each thing to go to someone who really wants it).
I’ll draw and announce all the winners on Monday morning, January 26.
How To Make Sewing Patterns is a highly regarded book by Donald H. McCunn (so highly regarded in fact that I purchased two copies of the book). And as if there’s not enough interesting stuff on the web to wile away the hours check out Don’s webpage. He has online eBooks, online classes and hosts three different Yahoo groups.
Leave a comment telling me a sewing pattern you’d like to make.

I would like to be able to make a dress bodice that will fit my proportions! This book looks great!
making a pattern is probably way out of my league right now but I would love to learn it!!
Ohhhh! I’ve always been curious how people make their own pattern. I WOULD LOVE THIS BOOK!
A shirt that really fits me – that’s all I want. my figure does not lend it self well to premade clothes. I wear mostly t-shirts because I can get my waist size and stretch the rest. a dress shirt with a waist would ROCK.
What a great book! I’d love to design dress patterns for my daughter.
In light of your full bust post (found via whipup.net), I would love to finally be able to draft a bodice to accomodate my G cups! Tried to alter patterns on my own and landed up with a bust dart 90 degrees perpendicular to the main pattern piece! Wait, what? It’s been years since I’ve worn a dress that wasn’t 2 sizes too big for me.
I’d love to design dresses and skirts paterns to my self
