Sandi Henderson’s much anticipated Portabellopixie Patterns arrived this week. I’m completely blown away by the quality. The patterns include an oversized 6 1/2″ x 9 1/2″ booklet with full-color pages and a full-sized pattern sheet. Sandi uses a very impressive technique of combining photographic images along with computer drawn illustration making the steps very clear to follow and understand. This is one talented gal! The multi-sized patterns contain sizes 6-12 months through girls 8.

100% natural linen. Sometimes a project just needs a little Zakka. I love using natural linen in my projects and I’m so very excited to have found a source that I’m proud to carry in the shop. It’s 60″ wide. I’m thinking about selling it in a smaller unit. Either a FQ type cut which would be 18″ x 30″ or a square measuring 18″ x 20″ or even smaller? If you have an opinion on this please leave a comment. I’ll draw 3 names on Monday for a free half yard cut of this fabulous new cloth.

Several new arrivals from Alexander Henry, this one is Starling. And yes, it’s as cute in person as it looks on the screen!

I love you all, the reasons you love to sew are making my heart sing and my eyes a wee bit teary. Have a fabulous weekend!

I think the linen would be great in a FQ size. The starling fabric is lovely.
You haven’t drawn those names yet have you?! I hope not!
I am hoping to be the winner…
